We were extremely happy with the birthday cake Mel made for our daughter (Harry Potter). The amount of planning and creativity that went into the cake was above and beyond our expectations. Melissa was amazing to work with and put together an amazing cake and cupcakes for our wedding. I really wanted a sunflower-themed cake, and she did the sunflowers in fondant with so much care and detail- it was a work of art. She also suggested a lemon and raspberry filling, and I'm so glad I followed her guidance. The cake was a huge hit. The cupcakes we did were chocolate and vanilla buttercream, so delicious, and festively decorated. Also a hit.

Melissa created an absolutely gorgeous, spectacular cake for my wedding. My guests and I were blown away with how unique the cake looked. Even my videographer was curious who had made my cake as it was so beautiful. Melissa is a great friendly person to deal with and EXTREMELY accommodating. Melissa made our wedding cake in August 2017. She was excellent to work with, always responding quickly to emails, asking all of the right questions, and giving us lots of opportunity for feedback. She also worked incredibly well with our other vendors to deliver a final product that we were happy with, and eliminate coordination that would otherwise have been needed on our part. Melissa is a truly trustworthy professional, and she makes amazing cake. We found it difficult to find a wedding cake at other places that not only was aesthetically what we wanted, but was delicious. She delivered on both fronts, and eliminated any worries regarding our wedding cake. She made everything from scratch, including the lemon curd, jam, and fondant for our cake. Don't hesitate to have Yellow Tulip Cake Company produce desserts for your special day.
